Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Elevate patient care by providing expert respiratory therapy services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist eager to support patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions, applying advanced clinical skills and compassionate care throughout each shift.
Qualifications:
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Current and unrestricted Respiratory Therapy license Proven work experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or clinical environment Competency in administering various respiratory therapies and managing ventilator-dependent patients Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills BLS and ACLS certifications required
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders across all age groups Operate and manage ventilators and artificial airway devices Deliver aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, and related interventions Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and adjust care plans Ensure accurate documentation of treatments, clinical notes, and patient progress Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments and preventive strategies Maintain equipment according to regulatory and safety standards As a valued member of the respiratory care team, you'll make a difference for patients dealing with respiratory illness and contribute directly to positive health outcomes.
