Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Support patients in need of expert cardiorespiratory care as a key member of the clinical team. This role focuses on providing assessment, intervention, and continuous monitoring for individuals with respiratory concerns in a collaborative environment.
Schedule:
Night shifts: 7:00pm-7:30am 32 hours per week Includes weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
Active credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care or hospital setting Current state licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist Strong understanding of respiratory equipment, therapies, and best practices Ability to work efficiently and compassionately under pressure Commitment to patient safety and infection control protocols Effective communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct respiratory assessments and implement treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions Operate and maintain mechanical ventilators, nebulizers, oxygen therapy devices, and related equipment Administer prescribed respiratory care procedures such as aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and airway management Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals regarding patient status and therapy outcomes Respond promptly to emergency situations and perform resuscitation if needed Accurately document care and progress in patient records Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and techniques as needed Take the next step in your respiratory care career and make a direct impact on patients' lives.
