• Part-time Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Restaurant Cook to join our culinary team.

Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure quality and freshness Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling procedures Ensure all food safety regulations are followed during preparation and service Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools Support meal preparation for various dining settings, including catering events if applicable Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for replenishment Plate dishes for presentation and quality assurance before serving Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant kitchens Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning, fine dining, or catering is preferred Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness and safety This position offers an engaging environment for culinary professionals eager to refine their skills while contributing to a positive dining experience.
