Restaurant Lead - Line Cook Focused Job Summary We're a small neighborhood pub known for good food, craft beer, and a strong sense of community. We're looking for a dependable Restaurant Lead with a solid foundation in line cooking to help bridge the gap between the kitchen and the front of house — someone with leadership potential and a willingness to step up. This is a hands-on role that includes regular kitchen shifts and occasional bartending or serving. You'll work closely with ownership to maintain food standards and ensure smooth communication across the team. Responsibilities Execute food prep and line cook shifts to spec Maintain quality, cleanliness, and kitchen efficiency Communicate with FOH staff to ensure smooth service Take initiative on specials, stocking, and shift needs Assist with shift-level decisions (e.g. cuts, food issues) Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons Take and serve food and beverage orders Handle cash/card transactions and other FOH duties as needed Qualifications Line cooking experience is required Able to work independently and keep your station dialed Strong communication and basic leadership instincts Organized, dependable, and calm under pressure FOH experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person Must be 21+ and available nights and weekends Who This Job Is For A solid line cook looking for more responsibility A kitchen lead or manager who wants to dip their toes into bartending A hard working, sharp individual looking for a long-term home in the industry We're flexible based on experience and can tailor this role to the right person.
