Retail and Reservations Store Campground Manager Munith, MI 49259 $16 an hour - Full-time $16 an hour - Full-time Overview Join our dynamic team at GatherGrounds Resorts as a Retail and Reservations Store Campground Manager, where you will lead the day-to-day operations of our vibrant campground retail store and reservation services. This energetic role combines hospitality excellence with management expertise, ensuring guests enjoy seamless experiences from check-in to checkout. As a key leader, you will oversee customer service, reservations, store sales, and event coordination, all while fostering a welcoming environment for visitors and staff alike. Your leadership will drive operational success, guest satisfaction, and team engagement in a lively outdoor setting. Duties Manage daily operations of the campground retail store and reservation system, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery Lead, supervise, and motivate staff to provide outstanding guest services while maintaining high standards of hospitality and safety Oversee shift management, including scheduling staff coverage during peak times and special events such as nighttime activities or festivals Handle cash transactions, report writing, and financial record keeping with accuracy and integrity Coordinate events management efforts, including planning, setup, guest engagement, and post-event cleanup to enhance guest experiences Supervise guest services activities such as check-in/check-out procedures, reservations management, and resolving customer inquiries or complaints promptly Maintain compliance with safety protocols and operational policies to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff Qualifications Proven management experience in hospitality settings such as resorts, restaurants, or nightlife venues with a focus on customer service excellence Supervising experience in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or event venues is highly desirable Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work atmosphere Excellent report writing skills for documenting incidents, financial records, and operational reports Experience in shift management, cash handling, and guest services within a hospitality or resort context Knowledge of events management principles and the ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously Previous assistant manager experience or roles involving supervision of staff in customer-focused environments is preferred Join us to lead an energetic team committed to delivering memorable outdoor experiences!
