Join a dynamic inpatient dialysis team in Janesville, WI — contract/travel opportunity starting ASAP. This day-shift role offers $2,280 per 40-hour week and focuses on providing bedside hemodialysis and renal replacement therapies in an acute care setting. What you'll be doing: Deliver safe, patient-centered hemodialysis and renal replacement treatments for hospitalized patients. Perform focused assessments before, during, and after dialysis sessions, monitoring vitals, fluid status, and treatment response. Set up, operate, and troubleshoot dialysis equipment and machines. Administer medications and blood products per provider orders and institutional policies. Communicate and collaborate closely with nephrologists and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care plans. Teach patients and families about renal disease management, dialysis expectations, and self-care considerations. Accurately document treatments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record. What we're looking for: Active RN license in the appropriate state and graduation from an accredited nursing program. Current BLS required; ACLS preferred. Previous dialysis or critical care experience is preferred. Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical decision-making skills. Familiarity with dialysis equipment and the principles of renal disease management.
