Job Description
Robot Programmer responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing robotic systems for automotive manufacturing and live production environments. Job Requirements Proven Yaskawa/Motoman robot programming experience required Hands-on experience with at least one additional robot platform, including Fanuc, ABB, or KUKA Experience with robotic processing applications, including: Sealing and dispense Welding Material handling Automotive manufacturing experience Troubleshooting and debugging experience in live production environments Valid passport required for international travel between the United States and Canada Experience supporting robotic systems in production launch or active manufacturing settings Preferred Skills Honda automotive manufacturing experience Automotive OEM experience Body shop experience Welding application experience Vision systems experience, including Cognex, Sony, or similar systems PLC experience, including Rockwell, Siemens, or Mitsubishi Robot I/O configuration experience, including DeviceNet and Ethernet Tool frame and user frame setup experience Cycle time optimization experience Exposure to mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems Job Responsibilities Program Yaskawa/Motoman robots for automotive manufacturing applications Support robotic processing applications such as sealing, dispense, welding, and material handling Program and troubleshoot additional robot platforms as required Debug robotic systems in live production environments Support production equipment during commissioning, launch, and active manufacturing Configure robot I/O using DeviceNet, Ethernet, or related communication systems Set up tool frames and user frames for robotic applications Optimize robotic cycle times for production requirements Troubleshoot robot, PLC, vision, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system issues Support body shop, welding, material handling, and dispense system applications Travel internationally between the United States and Canada as required
