Roll Off Driver (Class A CDL Required)

Position Summary The Roll-Off Driver is responsible for safely operating specialized roll-off trucks to transport, deliver, and remove containers at customer locations, construction sites, and disposal facilities. This position plays a vital role in supporting waste management, recycling, and construction operations through safe driving practices, efficient route management, and excellent customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate roll-off trucks in accordance with company policies and all federal, state, and local regulations. Transport, deliver, and remove roll-off containers at designated job sites and disposal facilities. Properly position, secure, and unload containers using hydraulic systems and truck controls. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation. Report mechanical issues, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards promptly. Maintain accurate records including manifests, trip reports, mileage logs, and inspection documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding schedules, route changes, and service concerns. Provide professional and courteous customer service during all deliveries and pick-ups. Plan and follow efficient routes to maximize productivity and fuel efficiency. Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean driving record. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required. Clean driving record with the ability to meet company insurance requirements. Previous experience operating roll-off trucks or working in the waste management, recycling, or construction industry preferred. Strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, securing containers, climbing in and out of the truck, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Work Environment Outdoor work environment with exposure to varying weather conditions. Frequent driving, lifting, climbing, and physical activity required. May require overtime, weekends, or flexible scheduling based on operational needs. $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
