Job Description

Dirks Bros Agri-Services is seeking a high-performing agricultural sales professional with proven sales experience and a strong background in agronomy or production agriculture. This is not an entry-level sales role. We are looking for someone capable of building and managing long-term customer relationships while delivering real value and measurable results for growers. At Dirks Bros, customer success comes first. We are not looking for transactional salespeople. We are looking for professionals who understand that long-term trust, service, and helping customers succeed is what builds lasting business. This position offers substantial upside for the right individual. Compensation is heavily commission-based and rewards performance, business growth, customer retention, and long-term relationships. What We're Looking For Proven success in agricultural sales Agronomy or production agriculture experience preferred. Existing customer relationships or established network strongly preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated and highly driven Ability to work independently and manage your own customer base. High level of integrity and professionalism Customer-first mindset with a focus on long-term success over short-term sales Responsibilities Build and maintain long-term customer relationships Deliver agronomic recommendations and crop input solutions that provide real ROI Understand customer operations, goals, and challenges Generate new business while maintaining a high level of service for existing accounts Work alongside precision ag and fertility programs to improve customer outcomes Ensure customers receive excellent communication, follow-through, and support Represent Dirks Bros professionally within the agricultural community Compensation Primarily commission-based structure Very high income potential for top performers Opportunity to build a long-term recurring customer portfolio Compensation structure rewards growth, retention, and customer success Ideal Candidate We are seeking someone who already performs at a high level or has the ability and drive to become a top producer quickly. Existing customer relationships, agronomic credibility, and a reputation for taking care of customers are highly valued.
