Drive new membership acquisition through prospecting, tours, events, and CRM-managed sales pipelines. Design member engagement programming, build relationships, track sales and retention KPIs, and collaborate with marketing, events, partnerships, and property teams to strengthen the community. The summary above was generated by AI Description Gravity Haus is seeking a motivated and results-driven sales professional to join our Membership Sales team. We're looking for ambitious individuals with a proven track record of success, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. In this role, you'll drive pipeline growth through outreach and events, and lead prospective members through the tour and conversion process from first contact to signed member. In this role you'll have a dual mandate: growing our membership base and keeping the members we already have. This isn't a pure hunting role- you'll split your time between prospecting/closing new members and owning the renewal, engagement and churn-reduction for an assigned member portfolio. With unlimited earning potential across both sales and retention incentives, plus exclusive travel perks to Gravity Haus destinations, this role rewards people who can both open doors and keep them open.
Key Responsibilities Membership Acquisition:
Execute inside/outside sales initiatives to attract new members, including outreach, tours, and events. Manage monthly/quarterly/annual new membership sales goals as a distinct, tracked KPI. Leverage HubSpot CRM to manage the acquisition pipeline and deliver accurate forecasts. Use member events and activations as a lead-generation channel for prospective members.
Membership Retention & Community:
Own the renewal pipeline for an assigned book of existing members- track upcoming renewals, run proactive outreach ahead of expiration, and manage save/win-back conversations for at-risk members. Own churn rate, renewal rate, and referral rate as primary KPIs, tracked in HubSpot with the same rigor as the sales pipeline. Design and run a regular cadence of member engagement programming (social gatherings, workshops, member-only events) explicitly aimed at deepening loyalty and reducing churn- not solely as a sales funnel. Build relationships with existing members to surface early churn signals, gather feedback, and identify referral opportunities. Partner with Member Success on renewal strategy, but hold direct accountability for the retention number in this portfolio. Collaborate with property teams on programming that reflects member interests and strengthens the membership base.
Marketing and Promotions:
Partner with Events, Partnerships, and Marketing on campaigns that serve both acquisition (new member campaigns) and retention (member-only content, renewal campaigns, loyalty messaging). Use social, email, and targeted outreach for both prospective and existing member audiences. What We're Looking For 3-5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in hospitality, lifestyle memberships, or related industries. Experience in account management, renewals, or member retention. Proven sales success with the ability to prospect, forecast, and consistently achieve or exceed membership sales goals as well as renewal and retention targets CRM expertise (HubSpot preferred) with strong organizational skills and experience tracking key membership KPIs (ARR, MRR, churn, retention). Strong communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships, deliver exceptional service, and foster inclusive communities. Creative and strategic thinker who can design and implement effective plans to attract, engage, and retain members. Adaptable team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, solves problems proactively, and collaborates across teams. Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills. Data-driven mindset with sales analytics experience Track record of proactively managing an existing client or member base — spotting at-risk accounts early and turning them around — is a strong plus. Events experience is preferred. About Gravity Haus Gravity Haus is a community-driven adventure lifestyle brand with hotels, restaurants, and experiences that empower a modern way of travel.
