Account Executive
Job Description
About Pivot Marketing Pivot Marketing is a small, woman-owned B2B and nonprofit marketing agency in its fifth year of business. We serve a tight-knit roster of clients — mostly local businesses, public agencies, and mission-driven organizations — with honest, reliable marketing and communications support. Our team is small by design: we work closely together, share clients, and invest in each other's growth. We're expanding and looking for the right person to support our development. The Opportunity This is a newly created position built around a real growth path. You'll act as Account Executive or Junior Account Executive, reporting to the Director. This role will manage client accounts and deliverables, assist with sales and acquisition, handle day-to-day communications, track performance, and coordinate with team members. After 90 days and pending a performance review, you will be eligible for a full-time permanent position with benefits. As we grow together, there will be opportunities to explore and advance into other roles, delegate, and help shape our team and expansion. The role is part of a funded expansion, which means there's genuine organizational commitment behind it. You'll be supported by two experienced teammates (our Director and a Web Content Specialist) plus a network of subcontractors, and you will have access to established systems and processes from day one. Each member of our internal team is participating in an individual growth plan that serves their own skillset and position while building out our client roster. We each have skin in the game and are committed to supporting everyone's mutual growth in the next 6-12 months and beyond.
Compensation & Benefits NOTE:

As we fill out our roster, there will be opportunities to continue or advance along specialized growth tracks. The role will build sustainably over time, and the responsibilities will include the following to start: Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned client accounts Prep and attend client meetings, track and manage follow-ups and regularly scheduled check-ins Oversee execution of deliverables including Google and website content, social media content, graphic designs, strategic plans, communications, and more.
