The Sales Executive / Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, coaching and motivating team members, and ensuring that sales goals are consistently achieved. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record of increasing sales team productivity, developing new broker and client relationships, and expanding existing ones to generate revenue growth. A strong preference will be given to candidates with recent and successful sales experience in Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Savings Accounts (HSA), COBRA administration services, or within the employee benefits brokerage industry. Required Skills Proven experience as a Sales Manager, Sales Supervisor, or in a similar leadership role with measurable success Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Strong computer proficiency Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the distributor network and customer base while maximizing market opportunities Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze trends, and report results to senior management Build and maintain strong relationships with key brokers to support long-term growth Oversee the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, presentations, negotiations, and closings Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align strategies and enhance customer experience Identify new market opportunities and stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement Meet personal and team sales targets Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events as needed Stay current on products, services, and federal laws/regulations affecting the industry Maintain and expand broker and client databases within assigned territories and regularly update CRM records Travel quarterly as needed Work overtime as necessary Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Compensation Base Salary:
$75,000 + Commission Commission Structure 2.5% of all COBRA, CDHP, and ACA revenue produced by Sales Team Associates Onboarding Process 90-day in-office training period followed by hybrid/field-based work In-person and virtual training with the Sales and Business Development team Platform training including Microsoft Suite, CRM systems, and project management tools
