Position Summary:
Aphora Health is looking for a Sales Executive who has earned the trust of employee benefits brokers and consultants and knows how to leverage those relationships to drive growth. Success in this role is built on credibility. Our best Sales Executives become trusted partners to brokers by helping them solve meaningful problems for their employer clients and making the broker look good. As those relationships deepen, brokers proactively introduce Aphora Health into new opportunities. You will own your territory, cultivate strategic broker relationships, identify employer opportunities, and guide prospects from initial introduction through implementation. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable in a broker's office, an employer's boardroom, and presenting to executive decision-makers. Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain trusted relationships with employee benefits brokers, consultants, and key industry influencers Become the preferred pharmacy benefits resource for brokers by providing expertise, responsiveness, and practical solutions for employer clients Generate new business primarily through broker referrals, strategic networking, and relationship development Identify opportunities within existing broker relationships to introduce Aphora Health to self-insured employers Conduct executive-level meetings with brokers, employers, consultants, and benefit decision-makers Deliver compelling presentations that clearly communicate Aphora Health's value proposition and measurable financial impact Partner with the Inside Sales team to coordinate outreach, nurture opportunities, and advance qualified prospects Manage the complete sales process from opportunity identification through contract execution and implementation Support employer launches and broker engagement activities to ensure a successful client experience Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently achieve or exceed revenue objectives Represent Aphora Health at industry conferences, broker events, and employer meetings throughout the
Southeast Qualifications:
Demonstrated success selling into the employee benefits, healthcare, pharmacy, insurance, or self-funded employer marketplace An established network of employee benefits brokers, consultants, or employer decision-makers A proven history of developing trusted relationships that generate repeat business and referrals Experience working with pharmacy benefit management (PBM), specialty pharmacy, healthcare navigation, employee benefits, or employer-sponsored healthcare solutions. Existing relationships with regional or national employee benefits brokerages. Experience selling into self-insured employers ranging from mid-market through enterprise organizations. Familiarity with benefits consulting firms, TPAs, PBMs, captives, or employer health plans. Strong presentation, negotiation, and executive communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to independently manage a territory and sales pipeline Comfortable traveling approximately 35% throughout the
