Job Description
Account Executive Position Responsibilities:
Develop sales strategies by leveraging all available resources (executive sponsors, marketing, technical etc) Drive revenue growth through new project identification, creation, and attach opportunities. Maintain current vendors in the accounting system with accurate addresses, W-9, and TIN Request information. Forecast and report activity accurately in line with expectations Identify major projects within the largest accounts and managing activities to maximize product and services revenue Provide customers and partners with pricing and configurations to meet their needs as required Forge high-level relationships within assigned existing accounts to win incremental product and service business Partner closely with technical resources to ensure technical excellence in all positioning, competitive analysis, proposals, and exchanges Assist the accounting team in allocating all purchases to proper job cost, overheard, or administrative accounts. Responsible for marketing and closing sales of the Company's products and services. This includes developing industry contacts and relationships with building owners, developers, architects, mechanical contractors, building engineers, local business groups, etc. Work with the Operations and Service groups in developing bids, estimates, etc., and in responding to customer needs, issues, etc. during the sales process. Learn and become familiar with the Company's products, services, and systems. Build and maintain relationships with customersAccount Executive Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent required Associates degree or two years of related work experience preferred Valid driver's license with clean driving record required Minimum 2 years of sales or relevant experience preferred Specific product and industry knowledge necessary to make convincing sales presentations required Data entry and general math skills required Experience in operating a multi-line phone system required Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point skills required Experience in one or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, construction, and/or healthcare preferred Customer Focus- Maintaining awareness of and seeking to be an advocate for the needs and wants of the client Communication Skills
