Patient Growth & Sales Executive
Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Patient Growth & Sales Executive responsible for converting prospective patient leads into scheduled consultations, treatments, procedures, and surgeries. This position will own the patient sales pipeline from initial lead contact through conversion, using consistent follow-up, relationship building, objection handling, and effective sales strategies to increase patient census and drive revenue growth. The Patient Growth & Sales Executive will work across multiple healthcare service lines, including migraine, orthopedic, and surgical services, and will collaborate closely with call center, clinical, scheduling, marketing, and operational teams to maximize patient conversion opportunities. Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Sales & Lead Conversion Manage and actively work prospective patient leads generated through marketing campaigns, referrals, call center inquiries, digital sources, and other lead-generation channels. Contact new leads promptly and develop effective follow-up strategies to convert qualified prospects into scheduled patient consultations. Own and manage the patient sales pipeline from initial inquiry through consultation and, when applicable, scheduled treatment, procedure, or surgery. Conduct consistent outbound follow-up with prospective patients who have not yet scheduled or made a decision regarding their care. Re-engage previous leads and patients who did not initially convert. Utilize effective sales techniques, relationship building, and objection handling to help prospective patients overcome barriers to scheduling and move forward with care. Clearly communicate available services and the value of scheduling a consultation while maintaining ethical and patient-centered sales practices. Consultation, Procedure & Surgery Conversion Follow patients through the consultation process to maximize conversion into recommended treatments, procedures, and surgeries. Work closely with clinical and scheduling teams to ensure patients interested in moving forward are scheduled promptly. Follow up with patients who have completed a consultation but have not scheduled a recommended treatment, procedure, or surgery. Identify common reasons patients do not move forward and develop appropriate strategies to address barriers and improve conversion. Maintain consistent communication with prospective patients throughout the decision-making process. Help create a seamless patient experience from initial interest through scheduled care. Sales Performance & Patient Growth Meet established patient growth, sales, and conversion goals across assigned healthcare service lines. Develop strategies to increase qualified consultations, treatments, procedures, surgeries, and overall patient census. Identify opportunities within existing lead pipelines to increase conversion and revenue. Monitor lead sources and provide feedback regarding lead quality, patient interest, and conversion opportunities. Partner with marketing and leadership to identify opportunities to improve patient acquisition and sales performance. Assist in developing and implementing patient growth initiatives based on sales and conversion trends. Pipeline Management & Reporting Maintain accurate documentation of leads, patient communication, follow-up activity, and conversion status within applicable CRM and patient management systems. Ensure prospective patients receive timely and consistent follow-up throughout the sales process. Track and report key sales and conversion metrics, including: Lead-to-consult conversion rate Consultation scheduling rate o Consult-to-treatment conversion rate o Consult-to-procedure/surgery conversion rate o Lead response and follow-up activity o Lost lead and lost conversion reasons o Patient census growth Maintain an organized and accurate sales pipeline and provide regular updates to leadership regarding opportunities, conversions, and performance. Analyze conversion trends to identify opportunities for improvement and increased patient growth. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with call center staff to ensure qualified leads are appropriately identified, routed, and followed through the sales process. Collaborate with clinical teams to understand available services, treatments, and procedures and effectively communicate appropriate information to prospective patients. Work closely with scheduling and operational teams to minimize barriers that may prevent patients from moving forward. Partner with marketing to provide feedback regarding lead quality, campaign performance, and patient responses. Communicate trends and operational barriers that may negatively impact patient conversion or sales performance. Provide leadership with regular updates regarding pipeline activity, conversion performance, patient feedback, and growth opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. 5+ years of experience in sales, healthcare sales, patient acquisition, patient conversion, inside sales, business development, or a similar results-driven sales role . Proven ability to manage leads through a sales pipeline and successfully convert prospective customers or patients. Demonstrated experience meeting sales, conversion, revenue, or other measurable performance goals. Healthcare experience strongly preferred, particularly within specialty medicine, surgery, orthopedics, elective procedures, medical devices, or other patient-facing healthcare services. Strong sales, closing, relationship-building, and objection-handling skills. Ability to communicate persuasively while maintaining a professional, ethical, and patient-centered approach. Comfortable working toward measurable sales and conversion goals and being accountable for individual performance. Strong follow-up skills with the ability to manage a high volume of prospective patients and sales opportunities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage priorities with limited supervision. Experience with CRM, lead management, scheduling, or healthcare practice management systems preferred. Ability to analyze sales and conversion data and communicate performance trends to leadership. Key Performance Indicators Success in this position will be measured through established sales, patient growth, and conversion goals, including: Lead-to-consult conversion rate Number of qualified consultations scheduled Consult-to-treatment conversion rate Consult-to-procedure/surgery conversion rate Growth in overall patient census Lead response and follow-up performance Re-engagement and conversion of previously unconverted leads Sales pipeline activity and management Achievement of established patient growth and conversion targets Contribution to revenue-producing patient growth across assigned service lines
Physical Requirements Sedentary Work:
Ability to exert up to 10 lbs. occasionally and remain in a seated position for most of the day.Visual Acuity:
