Job Summary The Sales Executive will drive growth for MVT Logistics by developing new business opportunities with shippers across North America. In this role, the Sales Representative will identify, research, prospect, and qualify new leads while building strong relationships with prospective and existing customers. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven, with a consultative sales approach and the ability to engage decision-makers in meaningful conversations about their transportation, logistics, warehousing, and supply chain needs. This individual must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment while collaborating cross-functionally with operations, pricing, carrier management, and leadership teams. Responsibilities Generate qualified leads and set sales appointments to create new business opportunities and support revenue growth. Utilize cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and lead generation tools to maintain a high daily volume of prospecting activity. Engage executives and key decision-makers within targeted prospect accounts to identify transportation and supply chain challenges and present customized solutions. Build, manage, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline of qualified prospects and opportunities. Collaborate closely with internal sales, operations, pricing, warehousing, and carrier teams to develop and execute customer solutions. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and subject matter experts to ensure a high level of customer service and operational execution. Generate opportunities with both new and existing customers by identifying areas where MVT Logistics can provide value through brokerage, asset capacity, warehousing, managed transportation, and supply chain solutions. Schedule and coordinate customer calls, meetings, presentations, and business reviews. Become proficient in CRM systems, lead generation platforms, and sales engagement software to effectively manage prospecting and customer activity. Conduct sales development best practices using phone, email, and social outreach campaigns to engage and nurture prospects. Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to ensure consistent follow-up on inbound leads and sales opportunities. Develop strategies to increase customer engagement, generate qualified leads, and expand market share. Maintain accurate customer records, pipeline activity, and forecasting within company CRM systems.Job Requirements:
Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in sales, business development, logistics sales, or cold calling. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills. Results-driven with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and relationship building. Positive attitude with strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive mindset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional demeanor with strong active listening and interpersonal skills. Strong critical-thinking skills with the ability to assess and evaluate information in real time. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and changing demands. Ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of leads and opportunities. Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales engagement tools preferred. Knowledge of transportation and logistics services including truckload, LTL, warehousing, dedicated transportation, managed transportation, or brokerage solutions preferred. Industry experience in sectors such as Retail, Food & Beverage, Automotive, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, or Chemicals is a plus.General Description of Benefits:
