We are looking for a Business Developer to join our team and help us to create smarter workspaces.
Position Overview:
The New Business Developer is responsible for driving business growth through client development, relationship management, and strategic project leadership. This role serves as both a trusted advisor to clients and a key contributor to Think Office's sales and project success. The position is focused on identifying opportunities, developing new business relationships, expanding existing accounts, and guiding projects from initial vision through final installation and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, client-focused, and energized by building connections and creating long-term partnerships. This role requires strong communication skills, accountability, and the ability to coordinate multiple moving parts while maintaining a high level of professionalism and responsiveness.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients across government, healthcare, education, and commercial sectors. Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with Think Office's strategic goals. Lead client engagement efforts, including workplace consultations, solution development, presentations, and follow-up communication Make telephone calls, in-person visits, and presentations to existing and prospective customers. Develop clear and effective written proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers. Service existing accounts and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing clients and/or potential new opportunities. Manage project timelines and client expectations from quotation through installation and final walkthrough. Participate actively in project meetings, sales strategy discussions, and team collaboration initiatives Represent Think Office with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to exceptional client service
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience is preferred; Project Management Professional certification is preferred; high level of integrity is required along with strong communication skills; previous experience in sales or related field is preferred but not required; ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential; customer service, time management, prospecting, self-confidence, and client relationships skills are required.
