Job Summary:
Learning the meaning of the principles of insurance and applies to everyday situations. Individual contributor representing a step toward positions of more autonomy in account management; works under direct supervision. Performs more routine responsibilities and are primary points of contact for the clients they oversee. Supports and informs coverage strategy and plan. Work with simpler or less demanding clients. Required to have the necessary insurance license(s). Responsibilities Assist Account Managers and Associate Account Managers Provide courteous and prompt customer service to clients as assigned and requested. Maintain a familiarity of all aspects and insurance services. Provide clients and prospective clients with an overview of available services. Support Account Managers/Associate Account Managers in all functions as directed by the Account Managers and approved by the management team. Assist with completing requests for Certificates of Insurance and Evidences of Property, completing the requests in office when a rush request is received. Complete Policy Changes using EPIC and carrier websites when applicable. Prepare documents and other correspondence as requested by delegating authorities Issue Auto ID Cards, binders, and other relevant proofs of insurance. Work with the client and carrier to review/identify and resolve billing/invoicing questions and problems. Notify the Account Manager as needed. Send request to Patra to request loss runs and complete loss summaries Complete pre-renewal packets per template and submit to Account Manager for review. Complete proposals per template and submit to Account Manager for review. Complete and update applications when required. Send requests to Patra to review insurance policies and endorsements for accuracy and follow up for their reports. Review Policy Checking reports received from Patra and notify Account Managers/Associate Account Managers of any discrepancies. Review audits for accuracy and complete audit summaries Invoice all premium-bearing endorsements. Communicate with underwriters and other insurance carrier personnel on all issues related to clients and prospects, referring to the Associate Account Manager/Account Manager and/or Producer only when necessary. Receive phone calls from clients and companies regarding insurance, claims, or administrative problems, and comply with the request and/or refer to the Associate Account Manager/Account Manager and/or Producer only when necessary. Maintain activities system to follow up on outstanding orders, correspondence, reports, and follow up on overdue and suspense items, referring to the Associate Account Manager/Account Manager and/or Producer only when necessary. Maintain Agency Management and shared drive files in an orderly, up-to-date manner. Develop an excellent knowledge of all partner carrier and vendor websites and their functions. Be familiar with and follow agency E&O and Workflow and Procedure guidelines. Perform projects at management's request. Provide back up for office administration tasks and reception. Provide training to co-workers when required. Immediately report all malfunctions of systems software to the systems manager. The base compensation range for this position is $28 - $38. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity. Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
