Job Description
Surety Client Administrator Location:
San Diego, CA Compensation:
$60,000 - $80,000 DOE A growing and well-established insurance organization is seeking a Surety Client Administrator to join its team in San Diego. This position plays a critical role in servicing surety clients, processing bond requests, and supporting the overall success of the surety department. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to delivering exceptional client service. Experience within insurance, surety, or financial services is preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities Process bond requests, prequalification (PQ) letters, and related documentation Obtain approvals and communicate underwriting requirements and conditions Prepare and manage routine bond transactions, including endorsements, renewals, consents, and closing activities Coordinate with clients and surety underwriters to gather information and facilitate bond issuance Manage status inquiries, track bid results, and authenticate subcontract bonds Maintain client records, servicing documents, and surety company requirements Track account activity and maintain data within SuretyPro and departmental systems Support invoicing processes, monitor receivables, and help maintain current accounts Process new account setups, client onboarding documentation, and indemnity agreements Assist with marketing initiatives, renewals, and surety line-of-credit requests Review, organize, and maintain incoming correspondence and account documentation Serve as a backup resource for other members of the surety team as needed Notarize bond documents when required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in insurance, surety, banking, or a related administrative environment preferred Licensed Notary Public preferred, but not required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and administrative systems Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion What We're Looking For A team-oriented professional who takes ownership and accountability A continuous learner who seeks opportunities for growth and improvement Someone who thrives in a client-focused environment and delivers exceptional service Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively address challenges Excellent time-management and project-management abilities A positive attitude and collaborative approach to work To be considered, please submit a resume to: Jennifer.Thompson@gogpac.
