Position Overview We are seeking a results-driven Elevator Account Manager to lead and expand our Service, Repair, and Modernization portfolio across San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area communities . This role is ideal for a motivated industry professional who understands the complexities of high-rise buildings, aging infrastructure, union labor coordination, and competitive service environments. You will be responsible for managing existing accounts while aggressively pursuing new opportunities in one of the nation's most dynamic vertical markets. Elevator industry sales experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Growth & Territory Development Manage and grow a portfolio of elevator service, repair, and modernization accounts throughout San Francisco. Identify and secure new business within commercial office, high-rise residential, mixed-use, healthcare, hospitality, and property management sectors. Expand long-term maintenance agreements and modernization pipelines in aging building stock. Sales & Contract Management Develop detailed proposals, maintenance agreements, repair estimates, and modernization scopes. Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and closing strategies to meet and exceed monthly and annual sales goals. Oversee renewals, multi-year agreements, and contract retention strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with field operations, service supervisors, project managers, and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution. Coordinate effectively with union-represented mechanics and leadership to align project timelines and service expectations. Support job walks, site assessments, and technical consultations. Market Intelligence & Strategy Maintain a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting. Monitor competitor activity, market pricing trends, and labor considerations specific to the San Francisco market. Represent the company at client meetings, property walkthroughs, and industry events. Required Qualifications 3+ years of proven sales or account management experience in the elevator industry. Strong technical knowledge of elevator maintenance, repair, and modernization solutions. Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple high-value accounts in a fast-paced urban environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales management systems. Ability to travel locally throughout San Francisco and the greater Bay Area. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred). Experience working within union labor environments. Familiarity with high-rise and modernization-heavy markets.
