Salary is dependent on experience and past job responsibilities including lead roles and specific job duties. This position requires a professional, positive attitude with experience in account analysis, report generation, coding and familiarity with electronic EMR systems. Responsibilities Perform AR analysis and account review for billing and collection of outstanding balances Identify and escalate timely measures for claim resolution Generate reports for information as requested Participate in meetings and interact with the billing team and providers Help support the call center to resolve patient account questions Participate in projects that require expertise in billing and collections Provide feedback and relay billing information to employees, managers and others as appropriate Qualifications Minimum of 4 Years of recent experience in billing and collections Strong eye for detail and ability to follow protocols to resolve issues Ability to work independently and also within a team Understanding of coding, modifiers, and insurance protocols (Medicare, PPO, HMO, WC) Knowledge of authorization process for surgical and office procedures Familiarity with claims review, denial management and resolution Experience with NextGen, EPIC or an equivalent computer system Ability to use Word, basic Excel and using the internet for research Certified coder or a strong background in Orthopedics is a plus. Overview Will work with the office Billing Team and outside Billing Company Work location in-office is preferred although remote locations may be considered in certain circumstances Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications
Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:
