What you will be doing The Sr. Manager, Sales works in lockstep with their tier Director on team strategy and process to develop a best-in-class sales team. The Sr. Manager will work to enable the sales team to focus on demand generation and account penetration. The Sr. Manager is responsible for coaching the sales team to deliver strategic, data-driven plans to clients while also tracking important sales metrics such as deal slippage, win rate, and more. They will advocate across the organization for the Voice of the Customer to help strengthen the Retail Media offering and allow The Collective to be a trusted media partner in the industry. The position is in office 2 days per week and will be based in (Pleasanton CA, Fullerton CA, Boise ID, Itasca IL, NYC) Main responsibilities: Meet and exceed annual revenue targets by developing and advancing current and future-looking partnerships Develops and coaches the sales team to deliver data-driven strategies to clients Provide account-level annual forecasting, account book development and delegation of quota across the team Advocate for the Voice of the Customer across the organization to build a best-in-class Retail Media Network Provide accurate account-level forecasting for annual and period-level cadences with minimal call variance Develops partnerships with merchandizing team as a Category Captain Provides mentorship for Ad Sales and Cross-functional teams Keen focus on demand generation and account penetration strategies including tracking relevant sales metrics (deal slippage, response rates, win rates, etc.) Provide support for client escalation needs Provides guidance for Client Partners with QBR/T2T/ Lunch & Learn strategies Attend industry conferences; co-present with clients on Collective + Client case studies Attend client meetings/ travel for clients as needed (T2T/ QBR/ Lunch & Learns) Responsible for developing Broker relationships Continuously monitor, learn and develop knowledge of retail media landscape Attract, hire and retain top advertising sales leaders We are looking for candidates who possess the following: 6 plus years in Sales/Media/Retail space 2 plus years' experience with a track record of leading successful sales teams Demonstrated experience leading
