Waverly, IA - Account Representative - Turf, Lawn, & Compact Construction Equipment (CCE)

• The Opportunity We are looking for a proactive, relationship-building individual with the drive to find the next CCE or Lawn and Turf customer and help our company succeed. As a Turf, Lawn, and CCE Account Representative , you will be the face of our dealership to homeowners, commercial landscapers, contractors, and property owners. You will manage a diverse portfolio—ranging from premium residential lawn and garden tractors to commercial mowing fleets and compact construction equipment (skid steers, mini excavators, and compact track loaders). Core Responsibilities Instead of waiting for leads to come to you, you will actively own and grow your territory.

Proactive Territory Management:

Spend time in the field identifying new commercial accounts, landscapers, and contractors. Don't just call; show up, understand their businesses, and identify where we can add value. The "Demo-First"

Approach:

Actively coordinate and conduct on-site equipment demonstrations. You know that the best way to sell a compact track loader or a commercial zero-turn is to get the operator in the seat.

Consultative Selling:

Ask the right questions to pair residential buyers, estate owners, and commercial fleets with the exact right machinery, attachments, and implements for their specific needs.

Seamless Delivery & Onboarding:

Oversee the delivery process to ensure customers are fully trained, comfortable, and highly satisfied with their new equipment.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

Work hand-in-hand with our Parts and Service teams to ensure our customers receive seamless, lifetime support after the sale.

Dirt:

You have at least 2-3 years of proven sales experience in agricultural, turf, or compact construction equipment. You know the language, the specs, and the applications.

Proactive & Self-Directed:

You don't need a daily task list. You naturally organize your week to balance showroom floor time, active cold-calling, and on-site customer visits.

Culture-First Mindset:

You bring positive energy to the store every day. You are humble, willing to help wash a machine or prep a delivery when hands are short, and you treat everyone—from detailers to fleet owners—with respect.

Tech-Savvy:

Comfortable utilizing CRM systems to track leads, manage customer relationships, and quote deals accurately.

Valid Driver's License:

With a clean driving record and the ability to safely transport/trailer light equipment for customer demonstrations.
