Ensure full compliance with governing plan documents, trust agreements, and applicable regulations, including ERISA and other federal and state requiremen ts.
Act as a central liaison between clients and internal teams (operations, compliance, custody, and investment services) to ensure seamless service delivery and issue resoluti on.
Lead regular client engagement efforts, including annual in-person meetings, board presentations, and ongoing strategic check-ins to strengthen relationships and anticipate client nee ds.
Advise trustees and plan administrators on custodial processes, asset movement, and operational best practices, delivering thoughtful solutions that enhance efficiency and transparen cy.
Identify opportunities to improve client experience by streamlining workflows, introducing new service capabilities, and leveraging technology solutions appropriate for a community-focused instituti on.
Drive business development by expanding existing relationships and cultivating new Taft-Hartley opportunities, including cross-selling treasury management, deposit products, and other bank servic es.
Partner with senior leadership to position the bank as a trusted provider in the union and multiemployer benefits space, particularly within regional marke ts.
Coordinate and contribute to the development of proposals, RFP responses, and marketing materials tailored to Taft-Hartley and institutional trust prospec ts.
Represent the bank at industry events, union meetings, and community engagements; host client appreciation and educational events to strengthen brand presen ce.
Monitor legislative, regulatory, and industry trends impacting employee benefit plans and union organizations, proactively advising clients and internal stakeholde rs.
Support financial literacy and benefit education initiatives for union members, aligning with the bank's community missi on.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to the development of internal best practices within the Institutional Trust te am.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of departmental and organizational objectiv es.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKI LLS
High school diploma plus seven years of trust administration experience or bachelor's degree in finance and/or business (requi red)Knowledge of trust account administration and operation practices and procedures as is normally attained in five - seven years of trust administration experience (requi red)Knowledge of rules and regulations as defined in ERISA, following best practices as outlined by the DOL.Experience managing a team of eight peo ple.Strong communication and interpersonal ski lls.
