66204 FT Days Registers patients by collecting and processing accurate demographic and insurance information. Verifies eligibility and insurance benefits, obtaining necessary authorizations. Creates price estimates based on patient's insurance and test/procedure. Collects upfront payments, including co-pays, deductibles, and other fees. Remains current on insurance knowledge and changes, adapting to new policies and procedures. Communicates honestly with patients, families, and team members, resolving issues as they arise. Works cooperatively within the work group and with service lines to support departmental goals. Suggests new procedures to improve the quality and quantity of work processed. Demonstrates and promotes high standards for quality and productivity, focusing on improving results. Attends all training meetings to stay up to date with new policies, procedures, and implementations. Supports the goals of the entire Patient Access department and works to improve employee satisfaction scores. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Medical Terminology [Preferred] Experience in Customer Service related field [Preferred]

Pay Range:
