Duties Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their logistics needs and providing tailored solutions. Manage end-to-end transportation planning, including freight forwarding logistics, air freight, and shipping logistics to ensure timely deliveries. Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS), CRM software, and EDI platforms to track shipments, update records, and improve operational efficiency. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with carriers, freight brokers, and 3PL providers to optimize costs and service quality. Coordinate with carriers, dispatchers, and internal teams to ensure compliance with international trade regulations such as FDA regulations and trade compliance standards. Lead lead generation efforts through inside sales activities, client communication, and sales negotiation to expand the customer base. Oversee data entry, dispatching activities, and ensure accurate documentation for all shipments using systems like AS400 or similar platforms. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. Experience Proven experience in logistics company operations or freight brokerage within a supply chain management environment. Strong background in transportation management systems (TMS), CRM software (such as Salesforce), and EDI integration. Demonstrated success in B2B sales, account management, and logistics sales with a focus on freight forwarding logistics or transportation sales. Knowledge of international trade regulations including FDA compliance and trade documentation requirements. Familiarity with freight types such as NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), air freight, and 3PL solutions. Excellent negotiation skills combined with customer relationship management expertise to foster long-term partnerships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, data analysis, and communication purposes.
