Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Logistics Account Manager and become a vital driver of supply chain excellence! The Account Manager is the single point of accountability for assigned client accounts, responsible for end-to-end service performance, relationship health, financial alignment, and continuous improvement across transportation, warehousing, or integrated logistics solutions. This role owns what the client experiences, not just communication. The Account Manager ensures commitments are met, risks are proactively managed, internal teams are aligned, and the client views Winnesota as a trusted, value-added partner.
ACCOUNTABILITIES 1.
Client Ownership & Relationship Leadership Serve as the primary owner of the client relationship across all service lines. Act as the escalation point for client concerns, issues, and disputes. Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders at operational, tactical, and leadership levels. Proactively manage expectations, scope changes, and communication cadence. 2. Service Performance & SLA Accountability Own service performance across transportation, warehousing, or hybrid operations. Ensure SLAs, KPIs, and contractual commitments are clearly defined, tracked, and met. Own service recovery execution when failures occur. 3. Cross-Functional Coordination & Internal Alignment Act as the client advocate internally. Coordinate with Operations, Warehouse, Transportation, Technology, Billing, and Sales. Ensure clear ownership, handoffs, and timelines. 4. Financial Accountability Own overall account financial health. Ensure accurate billing and timely resolution of disputes. Monitor revenue trends and utilization. Partner with Sales on renewals, pricing, and growth opportunities. 5. Risk Identification & Issue Management Identify operational, financial, and relationship risks. Own escalations and conflict resolution. Lead root cause analysis for recurring issues. 6. Governance, Reporting & Communication Cadence Lead operational reviews and QBRs. Deliver data-driven reporting. Maintain SOPs, SLAs, and escalation documentation. 7. Technology, Process & Adoption Oversight Ensure adoption of WMS, TMS, and ticketing tools. Monitor compliance with workflows and documentation standards. Drive efficiency through automation and process improvement. 8. Food Safety, Quality & Compliance Oversight (as applicable) Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements. Monitor audit readiness and corrective actions. Ensure timely incident reporting and traceability support. Monitor transportation costs, analyze data for continuous improvement, and implement innovative logistics strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency.KEY COMPETENCIES

Required High School Diploma or GED Proven experience in supply chain management, transportation management, or logistics and maintaining client expectations Ability to work flexible hours (some weekends/late hours may be required) Ability to travel as needed (<10%) Preferred Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Proven experience building and maintaining logistic clients (warehouse, transportation, logistics, fleet operations strongly preferred) Experience working in a continuous improvement environment Strong presence and experience delivering program communication at senior leadership levels Ability to manage ambiguity and deliver in a fast‑evolving environment Strong influencing, facilitation, and relationship‑building skills Expertise in productivity suites (i.e. Microsoft, CRM, etc..) Possess strong communication, including listening skillsPay:
