Summary of Position Functions The Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing a sales strategy and pipeline to sell professional services offerings by Veregy and its subsidiaries. In addition, the Sales Account Manager will be required to achieve a minimum dollar amount of sales per year. Essential Position Functions Builds and owns market strategies for obtaining and closing new business opportunities including competitive analysis and vertical market and horizontal business development strategies.
Delivers a solid pipeline resulting in meeting or exceeding set sales revenue expectations each fiscal year.
Analyzes the potential of specific clients and project opportunities while considering changing market conditions.
Works independently and as part of the sales team to obtain new project opportunities.
Delivers a client-focused message regarding the client's business, our value proposition, and deliverables.
Partners and collaborates with internal and external resources to ensure planning, presentations, and sales deliverables meet timelines and requirements.
Utilizes the SalesForce CRM platform and other tools to track and document sales opportunities.
Acts as the client's single point of contact from the initial sales cycle to beyond and facilitates handoffs to other staff as needed.
Provides support to the customer with regards to projects, financing, and contracting issues.
Prepares presentations, accurate estimates, quality proposals, and fee estimates with support from the technical and marketing teams.
Engages in market organizations and conferences to build and maintain brand awareness and business opportunities.
Travels to meet with clients or prospective clients; non-work activities to network with clients and prospective clients (i.e., dinner, outings, etc.).
