Job Description

Established Law Firm with hospital clients seeks an experienced person, familiar with the medical field along with health and auto insurance, for its Westerville, OH office. Duties will include, but are not limited to: managing a high volume of files and maintaining client and patient contact. Knowledge of and ability to learn and use management and hospital related programs such as: Artiva, Epic, VPN connections and Citrix. Excellent knowledge of MS Word. Excellent keyboarding speed and ability. Familiarity with legal/medical terminology. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferably in the legal/collections field) with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience required. Competitive compensation package including health, vision, 401K and profit sharing. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with possible schedule flexibility. In office each day during 30-60 day training. Our office has a non-smoking policy. After one year promotion to Account Specialist II. If interested please submit a cover letter and resume.
Requirements:
Consistency of presence at worksite. Self-discipline, motivation, and moral and ethical standards. Knowledge of HIPAA and FDCPA. Ability to work with little supervision. Excellent typing/computer/word processing ability. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to learn and use various computer programs. Strong communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and provide information to a diverse group of customers/contacts, both internal and external, with professionalism courtesy and tact. Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them within time constraints. Familiar with medical coding.
Pay:
From $41,600.00 per year
