Job Description

Inizio Engage is seeking a results-oriented Institutional Account Manager who is motivated to improve patient outcomes and support healthcare providers. This role is responsible for leading territory-level business development, building and maintaining strong relationships across key institutional accounts, and delivering education and insights to healthcare professionals (HCPs). The ideal candidate brings strong clinical acumen and a deep understanding of the U.S. healthcare landscape. You will identify and develop new business opportunities while strengthening existing partnerships. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional partners including sales leadership, marketing, medical, and operations teams to ensure alignment on strategic objectives. You may also support patient-focused education initiatives where appropriate. What's in it for you? What You'll Be Doing:
Drive growth across assigned accounts by developing strong customer relationships, communicating clinical and product-related information, and executing effective territory management strategies Execute marketing and educational initiatives to expand awareness and utilization within targeted accounts Apply a consultative, patient-centered engagement approach using strong communication and listening skills to uncover customer needs and deliver tailored solutions Maintain appropriate engagement frequency with key stakeholders and adjust priorities based on evolving business needs Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with organizational strategy to meet or exceed performance goals Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of relevant therapies, competitive landscape, and distribution channels Utilize available tools and data to clearly articulate value propositions and differentiate offerings in customer discussions Analyze purchasing and utilization trends across care settings (e.g., inpatient vs. outpatient infusion environments) Navigate complex account structures and proactively develop short- and long-term plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders Partner cross-functionally with field and corporate teams to deliver a consistent and high-quality customer experience Exhibit excellence across key competencies including account management, customer engagement, clinical knowledge, and business insight What do you need for this position? Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, healthcare, or life sciences 5+ years of institutional or account-based sales experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets Experience working with health systems, pharmacy stakeholders, and distribution channels preferred Demonstrated ability to manage a large and complex geographic territory About Inizio Engage Inizio Engage is a strategic, commercial, and creative engagement partner that specializes in healthcare.
