This is not a cold-calling sales role—rather, you'll be focused on supporting the sales team, managing existing customer accounts, and helping them grow. You'll be the trusted point of contact for our customers, ensuring their day-to-day logistics needs are met with exceptional service and attention. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about logistics, highly responsive, and eager to build lasting customer partnerships. Responsibilities Manage and grow business from accounts brought in by the sales team. Build strong, long-term relationships with customers through excellent service and proactive communication. Identify opportunities to cross-sell and expand services within existing accounts. Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day customer needs, ensuring timely and effective solutions. Collaborate closely with sales, carrier, and operations teams to deliver on customer commitments. Monitor account performance and provide insights to drive continuous improvement. Stay current on freight brokerage industry trends and best practices. Qualifications Must have experience in the freight brokerage / logistics industry (required). Excellent customer service and relationship management skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Proficient with CRM systems, TMS platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite. Must be based in Kansas City and able to work in the office.
