A property may not meet your standards. Several priorities may compete for your attention at once. The person we're looking for can quickly assess what matters most, make a decision, communicate clearly, and keep things moving. You are likely to thrive in this position if you: Have experience managing commercial customers, properties, field operations, or service teams Are comfortable being the person a customer calls when something isn't right Can remain professional and confident with direct, demanding, or frustrated customers Communicate clearly and aren't afraid to have difficult conversations Can lead field employees while building productive working relationships Are decisive and able to reprioritize quickly when circumstances change Naturally follow through and don't assume a problem is solved simply because you've handed it to someone else Notice quality issues before the customer has to point them out Can balance customer satisfaction with labor, productivity, and profitability expectations Are organized enough to manage multiple customers, crews, properties, and commitments simultaneously Enjoy spending a significant portion of your workday in the field Are comfortable working independently while still following established processes and expectations Commercial landscaping experience is valuable, but we are also interested in candidates from property management, facilities services, exterior services, construction services, or other field-based commercial service businesses who understand how to manage both customer expectations and field execution. This Position May Not Be the Right Fit If This role is probably not the best match if you are looking for: A remote or work-from-home Account Manager position A primarily administrative or office-based customer service role A position where operational or employee problems are routinely handed off to someone else A highly predictable workday with few interruptions or changing priorities A relationship-management position without responsibility for field execution and results What Success Looks Like Our best Account Manager will know their customers, their properties, and their crews. Customers will trust you because you communicate before problems escalate and do what you say you'll do. Crew leaders will know what is expected of them and receive both support and accountability.
