Job Description

Insurance Account Manager (Commercial & Personal Lines) - Licensed (NYS P&C Required) King-Clark Insurance is hiring a licensed Insurance Account Manager with an active NYS Property & Casualty license to support both Commercial and Personal Lines clients. This is a full-time, in-person role (not remote) based in our Plattsburgh or Malone office. The position focuses on managing a book of business, servicing policies, and providing expert coverage guidance with accuracy and compliance. Qualifications - Insurance Account Manager (Commercial & Personal Lines) Required Active NYS Property & Casualty license ( required to be considered ) Experience in insurance account management, underwriting support, or agency operations Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with computer systems and carrier portals Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay highly organized High attention to detail and accuracy Client-focused mindset and team-oriented approach Preferred Experience with both Commercial and Personal Lines accounts Prior experience working in an independent insurance agency Responsibilities - Insurance Account Manager (Commercial & Personal Lines) Manage and service a book of Commercial and Personal Lines accounts Review client coverage needs and recommend appropriate policy options Prepare quotes, proposals, renewals, and endorsements Communicate with clients via phone and email to answer questions and explain coverage Work with carriers and underwriters to process changes and resolve issues Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with NYS regulations Build strong client relationships to support retention and growth Benefits & Perks Competitive pay based on experience + commission opportunities 401(k) with company contribution Health insurance Paid time off and flexible scheduling options Paid licensing and continuing education Ongoing professional development Supportive, team-oriented workplace Who We Are King‑Clark Insurance is a family‑run agency with three North Country locations.
