Full Position Summary As an Account Representative with The GTI Group, you are expected to develop deep expertise in all aspects of freight transportation across North America. Your primary responsibility is to educate and support customers by presenting GTI's innovative supply chain and logistics solutions. This role blends inside sales, account management, and problem solving, with a strong focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience while strictly adhering to all safety requirements.- You will be provided with the tools and resources needed to consistently win additional business in partnership with our sales and operations team.
- The Account Representative will receive requests from both internal and external sources, and this individual will be required to ensure the transaction is completed.
- You will be assigned accounts which you will be required to manage on an ongoing basis and interact with them daily working to build long-term relationships, analyze their freight characteristics and build a partnership to meet their needs.
- When not serving as the primary account representative or duties are complete, you will concentrate on capacity functions. Other Job-related duties as required including Carrier facing or Carrier related activities as deemed fit by supervisors Essentials For Your Success
- Strong business knowledge of the North American transportation market and customers

- Experience in a non-asset brokerage model with knowledge of open deck, and/or closed van trailers, reefers, heavy haul, and more.

- Strong Computer Skills
- Knowledge of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Load Link/PC Miler/DAT/RMIS - whichever may apply.
- Knowledge of open deck/over dimensional/heavy weight transportation when required.
- Strong communication skills. (Written and Oral)
- Willingness to travel, as needed Education and/or Experience
