Business Development/Industry Relations - Water/Wastewater Construction Crossland Heavy Contractors is looking for an experienced industry professional to join our growing team in the North Texas water and wastewater construction community and connect great people with opportunities to build rewarding careers. Our ideal candidate is a driven industry professional who is passionate about building relationships, growing our team, and developing lasting partnerships with new and existing clients. What You'll Do Represent Crossland Heavy throughout the North Texas water and wastewater construction community. Build and maintain long-term relationships with construction professionals, contractors, suppliers, municipalities, and other industry partners. Spend time in the field visiting jobsites, industry partners, association meetings, conferences, and community events. Increase awareness of Crossland Heavy and the career opportunities available within our organization. Connect experienced construction professionals with opportunities that align with their skills, career goals, and values. Develop relationships with the next generation of water and wastewater construction professionals. Partner with Crossland's Talent and Operations teams to understand current and future workforce needs. Support workforce development initiatives and partnerships throughout the North Texas market. Share insights on workforce trends, industry activity, and the needs of construction professionals in the region. Help Crossland continue building an exceptional water and wastewater construction team in Texas. We're Looking for Someone Who Has established relationships within the Texas water and wastewater construction industry. Understands the underground utility, municipal water, wastewater, or heavy civil construction market. Has spent significant time working directly with contractors and field professionals. Is a natural relationship builder who enjoys connecting with people and staying involved in the industry. Would rather spend time visiting jobsites and industry contacts than sitting behind a desk all day. Has earned a reputation for integrity, professionalism, and following through on commitments. Understands that strong industry relationships are built over years, not transactions. Is interested in using their industry experience and relationships in a new way. Waterworks Distribution Pipe, Valve & Fitting Sales Trench Safety Equipment Rental Heavy Equipment Sales Pump & Process Equipment Precast Concrete Utility Products Manufacturers' Representation Construction Materials Utility Equipment Contractor or Municipal Business Development Recruiting or HR experience is not required.
