In this role, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships while coordinating freight from pickup through delivery. You'll work closely with customers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure shipments are handled efficiently and any issues are resolved quickly. If you're someone who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of customer accounts. Coordinate freight shipments from pickup to delivery. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and carriers. Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries. Track shipments and proactively communicate updates. Resolve shipment delays, billing discrepancies, and service issues. Work closely with dispatch, accounting, and operations teams. Ensure customer expectations and service requirements are met. Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems. Identify opportunities to grow existing customer relationships. Qualifications Previous transportation, logistics, brokerage, or account management experience preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving abilities. Experience with TMS software (McLeod, Alvys, or similar) is a plus. Microsoft Office experience. Preferred Skills Logistics or freight brokerage experience. Negotiation skills. Ability to prioritize multiple customer accounts. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Pay:
$70,000.00 per year
