Mon,Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri,Sat ACE Recycling & Disposal is looking for a dependable, outgoing, and professional Assistant Account Representative to join our Sales team. This position supports the Sales Manager and Sales team by helping maintain customer accounts, resolving service issues, developing new business opportunities, and completing sales-related projects. This is a field-based position that requires extensive local travel throughout ACE's service areas. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and committed to providing an excellent customer experience. Schedule Monday through Friday Generally, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Workdays may occasionally range from 8 to 10 hours Extensive local travel is required Key Responsibilities Assist the Sales Manager and Sales team with daily responsibilities and special projects. Visit customer locations throughout ACE's service areas. Build and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective customers. Help resolve customer questions and service concerns involving container sizing, placement, pricing, service changes, replacements, additions, and cancellations. Prepare accurate and complete service agreements and other sales documentation. Research potential customers and new business opportunities. Make sales calls, attend business and community functions, and promote ACE's services. Assist with pricing and service recommendations based on customer needs. Coordinate with Operations, Dispatch, Customer Service, and other departments to ensure customer needs are met. Maintain professional conduct and appearance when representing ACE. Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by the Sales Manager.
Experience and Skills:
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous sales, customer service, or account management experience preferred. Experience within a similar industry or service area is helpful. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows-based computer programs. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent planning, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Basic math skills, including percentages, ratios, measurements, and estimated averages. Ability to make sound decisions and resolve customer concerns professionally. Honest, dependable, confident, and comfortable working independently. Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally throughout the workday. Physical and Work Environment Requirements This position combines office and fieldwork. Duties may be performed in a climate-controlled office or at customer locations where temperatures, weather conditions, machinery, and surrounding materials may vary. The position requires extended periods of driving and walking, along with regular bending, reaching, stair climbing, and lifting. Employees must be able to lift 5-10 pounds regularly and up to approximately 50 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
