Full Job Description Account Support Representative Please Note:
The salary range represents the low and high end of what may be paid for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range, and compensation decisions may be influenced by factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Job Summary:
The Account Support Representative partners with the Account Representative Team to assist Account Managers in delivering exceptional, high-quality customer service to our clients.Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage assigned internal support tickets and follow up with agents, carriers, and internal teams to obtain required documentation, including proof of insurance and other account-related information. Communicate with insurance carriers through phone, email, and carrier portals to research and resolve outstanding items. Ensure all ticket activity, updates, and supporting documentation are accurately recorded and maintained in the system. Support Account Representatives with daily operational needs, including data entry, account updates, maintenance forms, and other administrative tasks. Assist with AR queues, audit reports, projects, and process-related activities to help maintain department workflow and service standards. Monitor assigned tasks and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely completion. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in ticket handling and data entry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Insurance knowledge is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
