Job Description
Front Desk & Play Lounge Associate Overview We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and community-minded individual to join our fitness studio team as a Front Desk & Play Lounge Associate. This role combines creating a welcoming front desk experience, connecting with current and prospective clients, supporting studio sales, and helping care for children in our on-site Play Lounge while parents attend class. The ideal candidate is warm, outgoing, comfortable around children, and confident starting conversations with new people. Previous sales or customer service experience is preferred. Mid-morning weekday and/ or evening availability is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Greet clients and create a warm, welcoming studio experience Assist with client check-in and general front desk needs Connect with new and prospective clients and help them learn about studio offerings Support membership and package sales through friendly, relationship-based conversations Follow up with prospective and current clients as needed Answer questions about memberships, class packages, promotions, and studio offerings Supervise and engage with children in the Play Lounge while their parent or guardian attends class Create a safe, positive, and fun environment for children of varying ages Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk and Play Lounge Support studio events, promotions, and community initiatives Assist with basic administrative and studio operations tasks Work collaboratively with instructors and other team members Qualifications Friendly, positive, and outgoing personality Dependable, punctual, and professional Previous sales experience preferred Customer service, hospitality, retail, or front desk experience is a plus Comfortable discussing memberships, promotions, and studio offerings with clients Confident starting conversations and following up with prospective clients Comfortable working with and supervising children Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and take initiative in a busy environment Previous childcare or babysitting experience is a plus CPR/First Aid certification is a plus Interest in fitness and wellness is preferred Availability We are currently prioritizing candidates with weekday mid-morning availability . Some additional morning, evening, or weekend availability may be helpful depending on studio needs.
