Marketing Coordinator) to join our Midwest Northeast team. In this role, you will be a partner who brings an ownership mindset to every pursuit. Working alongside our technical experts and operations leaders, you'll take ownership of positioning and pursuing some of our most critical environmental opportunities across the region. This role spans the entire pursuit lifecycle. From initial capture planning and strategy to proposal development, interview prep, and post-submission lessons learned, you will be the engine that keeps complex pursuits moving forward. Success in this role means helping SWCA pursue the right opportunities, develop compelling, client-focused narratives, and fuel our regional growth with critical environmental wins. This full-time, salaried, non-exempt, and regular (with benefits) position that offers flexibility to work remotely, in a hybrid capacity, or from an SWCA office. Priority will be given to candidates in Central or Eastern time zones who can occasionally travel to offices for on-site collaboration. The role may require occasional evening or weekend work to meet critical deadlines.

What you will accomplish Leads processes or projects within Marketing & Pursuit Resources from start to finish, under general supervision, including coordinating pursuits, proposals, business development efforts, marketing campaigns, brand-building events, and multimedia projects.

Demonstrates strong technical proficiency in pursuits strategy and development, including knowledge of fundamental theories, practices, procedures, and concepts.

Supports leaders in strategy development, relying on experience and market research to guide strategic decision making within the area of expertise.

Makes decisions within guidelines and policies that impact the employee's priorities to meet deadlines and works with management to determine priorities when capacity issues arise.

Delegates tasks to Marketing Specialists while maintaining appropriate oversight.

Ensures all marketing activities and materials comply with legal standards, ethical practices, and SWCA's quality requirements, conducting reviews and audits to maintain high standards of marketing excellence.

Provides guidance and mentoring to junior level staff and may guide and/or mentor new team members.

Writes non-technical content for pursuits/proposals and marketing materials.

Follows applicable federal, Tribal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, and specifications.

Performs related work as assigned. Experience and qualifications for success You are a great fit for this role if you bring: Experience coordinating or leading proposals, pursuits, or business development efforts in an architecture, engineering, construction, or another technical professional services environment.

Strong understanding of the pursuit lifecycle from planning and kickoff through content development, reviews, production, and submission.

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to turn input from multiple contributors into clear, compelling, client-focused content.

Strong project management, organization, and attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, contributors, and deadlines, identify issues early, and seek support or direction when needed.

Confidence, initiative, and collaborative approach when working with technical professionals, client developers, and leaders to facilitate discussions, gather information, and keep pursuit teams moving.

Advanced Microsoft Word skills and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign.

Experience using Vantagepoint or a comparable CRM and marketing information system, along with AI-enabled tools for research, content development, information retrieval, or other pursuit activities.

Experience using proposal automation, content management, AI, or similar tools to improve proposal workflows, content reuse, research, or team efficiency.

Experience in environmental consulting, architecture, engineering, construction, or another technical professional services industry, with familiarity with Midwest and Northeast markets.
