About LOVB San Francisco Signal is the Bay Area's professional women's volleyball franchise, debuting in 2027 under League One Volleyball (LOVB). The league establishes the inaugural youth-to-pro integrated ecosystem within the United States, bridging the gap for young athletes while prioritizing empowerment, sustainability, and enduring development. Our organization is creating a contemporary sports entity centered on performance, equity, and local culture. More than just a team, we are developing a transformative brand situated in a premier global sports market. Position Summary Our organization is seeking a motivated and meticulous Partnership Activation Manager to support our expanding corporate team. Serving as the primary point of contact for sponsors, you will ensure high-touch service while overseeing the seamless delivery of all brand commitments. This collaborative role partners with leadership to execute strategies across marketing, venue operations, and event production to maximize partner value. This role begins as a full-time contract engagement, with potential to convert to a full-time role. Key Responsibilities Activation & Execution Manage the comprehensive execution of all brand activations, including digital, community-focused, and in-venue initiatives Act as the central liaison for daily partner inquiries and strategic communication Partner with marketing, social media, fan engagement and venue operations to streamline the delivery of partner commitments Oversee partnership logistics, budgets, and project schedules to ensure high-touch service Direct the lifecycle of branded assets and promotional content from initial production to final placement Relationship Management Cultivate professional connections with marketing and brand leadership across our partner portfolio Facilitate regular partner engagement to drive satisfaction and identify collaborative opportunities Proactively recognize and develop potential for partnership renewals and upsell strategies Compose and present comprehensive ROI reports and seasonal performance summaries for sponsors Community & Brand Contribute to the execution of community programs, watch parties, and exclusive partner events Work with the marketing team to integrate sponsor presence across digital and email channels Formulate activation concepts that authentically reflect San Francisco Signal core values and organizational mission Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of experience in sponsorship activation, partnership marketing, or sports business (agency or team-side experience welcome) Proven ability to manage multiple partners and projects simultaneously without dropping the ball Strong written and verbal communication skills — you can write a crisp email and present in a room with confidence Detail-oriented and highly organized; you build systems so nothing falls through the cracks Collaborative and low-ego — you understand that great activations require great teamwork Genuine passion for women's sports, volleyball, or both Comfort working in a startup environment where the playbook is still being written Proficiency with Canva, project management software, and Google suite Experience tracking partner performance and interpreting partner relevant data Compensation 7-month contract-to-hire | $7000 - $8000 / month depending on skills and experience| Potential to convert to full-time San Francisco Signal is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone belongs.
