Job Description

Job Summary Ilana Rubin Events is seeking reliable, detail-oriented Wedding Day Assistants to support the execution of high-touch, design-forward weddings and events. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being part of beautiful, elevated celebrations, and can remain calm, proactive, and professional throughout a full event day. Wedding Day Assistants play a key role in bringing each event to life, supporting setup, managing logistics, assisting guests and vendors, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. This is a hands-on position that requires strong awareness, a positive attitude, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise. Responsibilities Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces (tables, signage, personal decor, etc.) Greet and guide vendors and guests upon arrival Manage timeline and help keep the day on schedule Be a liaison between the lead planner, vendors, and wedding party Run errands and troubleshoot as needed throughout the day Keep an eye on details like signage placement, candles being lit, emergency kit items, and more Support the planner in handling last-minute adjustments calmly and efficiently Skills Previous event or hospitality experience preferred but not required Ability to be on your feet for up to 8 hours and lift up to 25 lbs Must have reliable transportation and be punctual Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude Professional appearance and demeanor Available to work weekends Please include your resume and must be available August Saturdays.
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
