We're looking for someone with a rare mix: a great eye for content, an outgoing personality that puts customers at ease, and a genuine willingness to help grow an authentic family brand, one conversation at a time. This job splits roughly 60% social media work and 40% in-person event marketing. For the social content you'll spend most of your time behind the camera, but we'd love someone who's happy to hop in front of it too. For the event marketing, you'll be running the show, handing out samples and meeting thousands of dog lovers along the way. Content Plan, shoot, edit and schedule short-form social content, working from a strategy we've already built Cut reels into ads that we plan together Keep everything organized as you go Community Reply to comments and DMs Reach out each week to a list of accounts we'd like to engage with You won't need to handle nitty-gritty customer service questions, we have a dedicated team that's got those covered. You'll get one other day off during the week (ideally Monday). Time in customer-facing work — retail, food service, hospitality, anything where you talked to people all day A good eye for shooting and editing short-form content Genuinely enjoy meeting new people No marketing experience needed Your application must include social media videos you've created — we read every application that includes them, and can't consider the ones that don't. We'll ask for links to 3-5 clips you shot and edited yourself Personal content is completely fine; it doesn't need to be for a brand or a job Practical details You'll need to live in San Diego or Orange County, and visit our office in Vista 1-2 times/week. Valid CA license A vehicle that can fit a cart and coolers (most cars are fine with seats folded down) Able to lift up to 40 lbs to set up/transport event materials We reimburse mileage at the current IRS rate ($0.76/mi) for event travel
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Benefits:
401(k) Employee discount Paid time off Application Question(s): This role is based in Vista and involves driving to about two events a week with a cart and coolers, usually on weekends. Do you live in San Diego or Orange County, and do you have a vehicle that can carry that and a valid license? Tell us about a time you struck up a conversation with a stranger and it went somewhere good. Two or three sentences is plenty. In the next step of this application, we'll ask you to share 3-5 short video clips you shot and edited yourself. Personal content is completely fine. Are you able to do that?
