CBI Midwest is seeking an Event Associate to represent nonprofit organizations and support community outreach efforts throughout the Indianapolis area. This Event Associate role is an in-person, public-facing role for someone who enjoys interacting with others, communicating information, and helping create engaging experiences at local events. As an Event Associate, you will work alongside a team to introduce members of the community to the nonprofit organizations we represent, share information about their work and initiatives, and encourage community involvement.
Event Associate Responsibilities:
Represent nonprofit organizations at community events and public locations. Engage with members of the public and share information about nonprofit organizations. Explain nonprofit programs, initiatives, and opportunities to get involved. Answer questions and provide accurate information. Encourage community members to learn more and support participating organizations. Create a welcoming and professional experience. Work with a team to support daily events and outreach activities. Stay informed about the organizations and initiatives being represented.
Event Associate Qualifications:
Interest in events, community outreach, nonprofit organizations, or public engagement. Ability to communicate information in a clear, engaging, and approachable manner. Professional and dependable with a positive attitude. Previous experience in customer service, events, outreach or similar roles is helpful but not required. Comfortable engaging with diverse members of the community.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
