Job Description

Job Overview The Development & Marketing Coordinator supports Easterseals Bluegrass by assisting with fundraising, donor relations, communications, and marketing initiatives that advance the organization's mission. This role helps implement development strategies, manages outreach activities, and ensures the organization's programs, impact, and brand are effectively communicated to the community. Reporting to the Director of Development & Marketing, the Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for fundraising campaigns, special events, donor engagement, and marketing efforts. This position helps maintain donor databases, coordinates communication materials, supports grant reporting, and assists with public relations and social media efforts. The Development & Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in strengthening community engagement, enhancing visibility, and supporting the long-term sustainability of Easterseals Bluegrass programs. Responsibilities Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising campaigns and initiatives. Maintain and update donor and prospect records in the database. Support donor stewardship activities, including thank-you letters, acknowledgments, and recognition programs. Assist with grant proposals and reporting, ensuring compliance with funder requirements. Provide logistical support for fundraising events, including setup, registration, and follow-up. Preparation of stewardship reports and other donor support materials. Assist with content and creation of newsletters, impact reports and marketing materials. Maintain website content and monitor engagement metrics. Support public relations efforts, including press releases and media outreach. Ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all channels. Create and manage social media content and campaigns. Support planning and execution of fundraising events; to include creation of event support materials and promotions. Prepare reports on fundraising, marketing, and engagement activities. Support the Development & Marketing team in daily operations and special projects. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of development and marketing initiatives. Assist with outreach to community partners, donors, and program participants. Represent Easter Seals Bluegrass professionally in community or event settings as needed. Ensure all development and marketing activities reflect Easterseals Bluegrass' mission, values, and commitment to inclusion. Promote transparency, accountability, and professionalism in all communications and interactions. Skills Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in fundraising, development, marketing, or communications, preferably in a nonprofit setting. Experience with donor database management, social media, and digital communications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic design or communications tools. Excellent organizational, project management, and attention-to-detail skills. Pay:
$39,433.89 - $59,533.29 per year
