Job Description
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Under the direction of the Vice President- Business Development, the Marketing Events Coordinator is responsible for the various events of the marketing department.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Assist in the booking, logistical planning and execution of all onsite marketing events, including but not limited to ticketed and non-ticketed internal marketing events and external 3rd party ticketed events. 2. Set up all ticketed events within Eventbrite system, track and analyze all statistical data regarding patron purchases. 3. Work with Customer Relations and Player Tracking staff as it applies to on-site events. 4. Work with group events and catering at the facility. 5. Travel to various locations to promote parties and events at Batavia Downs. 6. Update and manage all social media related to these events, including content creation, ad campaigns and related activities. 7. Perform other related duties as assigned.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND TRAINING A
personable and outgoing personality. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, various computer applications, and other related software.ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE A
two (2) year degree from an accredited college or university. Must be approved for and maintain a valid Video Lottery Gaming Non-Key Employee license and racing license issued by the New York State Gaming Commission.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This is a moderately sedentary role; however, some physical tasks are required. This may require the ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds at a time in order to move inventory and set up/tear down marketing events, and bend or stand as necessary. Effective communication is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and on holidays.Pay:
$45,000.00 - $67,000.00 per yearBenefits:
