Brooklyn Law firm is seeking a Public Relations/Marketing Coordinator. Slight travel is required.
Education :
Bachelor's Degree is a must.Job Description :
This position is responsible for driving interest and developing, creating and maintaining relationship among clientele. The successful candidate must bring a proven storyteller mindset and innovative engagement to drive positive media coverage of the firm.Responsibilities:
- Works with management to develop and execute comprehensive public relations plans in support of the firm's image through researching, writing and editing, press releases, internal communications, online communications, personal meet and greets
- Prepares and documents current information about the organization for appropriate members, current clientele and prospective clientele.
- Handles media inquiries, creates media opportunities and works with public relations agencies to get favorable stories in the press.
- Represents the firm at public events, functions and charitable events in a manner that reflects the positively on the firm.
- Serves as a liaison who builds and maintains mutually beneficial relationships, facilitates communications and coordinates activities among the firm and current clientele and prospective clientele.
- Continually seeking and researching new sources of prospective customers while providing recommendations to marketing and sales leadership
- Thoughtful preparation of pitch, proposal, and client meeting materials (talking points, research, etc.), offer recommendations on our approach, deliver tailored documents that tie into the proposed strategy and points of differentiation;
- Conduct research on companies, industries, marketplaces and competitors related to pitches and other strategic initiatives;
- Gather intelligence on legal industry trends to provide an overview of the competitive landscape and explore opportunities;
- Maintain the business development and marketing databases;
- Track business development activities, including meetings, presentations, pitches; and
- Perform special projects as requested.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$80,000.00- $85,000.
