Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Bowling Center Attendant, where you will be the friendly face ensuring a fun, safe, and memorable experience for all guests. In this lively role, you'll oversee the daily operations of the bowling alley, assist guests with their needs, and maintain a clean and organized environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create an energetic atmosphere that keeps visitors coming back for more! This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop customer service skills, manage events, and work in a vibrant entertainment setting. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide excellent guest services throughout their visit Assist with lane assignments, shoe rentals, and scoring to ensure smooth gameplay Manage cash handling and process transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately Maintain safety protocols by monitoring the premises, preventing accidents, and responding to emergencies with first aid or CPR when necessary Support event management by setting up birthday parties, tournaments, or special events, ensuring all activities run seamlessly Handle conflicts or disputes professionally, promoting a positive environment for all guests Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting bowling balls, shoes, or equipment safely and efficiently Skills Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and energetic demeanor Experience in events management or coordinating group activities is highly desirable Strong conflict management abilities to resolve guest issues calmly and effectively Knowledge of safety protocols, including first aid and CPR certification, is a bonus. Experience working with children in recreational or educational settings is a plus Retail sales experience for upselling food, beverages, or merchandise enhances guest interactions Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and lift heavy items when needed Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately Familiarity with POS systems for efficient checkout processes Outgoing personality with public speaking skills for engaging with groups or hosting events Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is advantageous Theater or outdoor work experience can contribute to creating lively entertainment experiences Join us as a Bowling Center Attendant and be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering fun-filled moments while ensuring safety and exceptional service.
