Join Our Team La Vigneta Winery is seeking an enthusiastic, hospitality-driven Tasting Room Associate to join our team at our tasting room, located inside the beautifully restored historic Thistledown at Segar House in Ligonier, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities Welcome every guest with genuine warmth and outstanding hospitality. Lead engaging wine tastings while sharing the story of La Vigneta Winery , our wines, and our winemaking philosophy. Recommend and sell wines, wine club memberships, gift items, and retail merchandise. Serve wine, local beer, and simple mixed drinks responsibly. Prepare and serve winery snacks, including charcuterie boards and other light fare. Create an inviting, relaxed atmosphere that encourages guests to linger, return, and recommend us to friends. Build relationships with guests by providing knowledgeable recommendations and personalized service. Operate the Toast POS system accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming tasting room throughout each shift. Assist with opening and closing duties, inventory, stocking, and daily operations. Support and help coordinate winery events, live music, wine releases, private parties, and seasonal celebrations. Share creative ideas for new events and experiences that continue to grow La Vigneta Winery's presence in the Ligonier community. Qualifications A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences. Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills. Experience in hospitality, restaurants, wineries, breweries, tasting rooms, bartending, or customer service is preferred but not required. Confidence in recommending and selling wine, beverages, food, and retail products. Interest in learning about wine, food pairings, and winery operations. Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude during busy service. Dependable, professional, and a collaborative team player.
