EVENT PRODUCTION & PROMOTIONS COORDINATOR
Tuition-Service Partnership Warrior Temple Island University Fort Lauderdale, Florida Warrior Temple Island University is seeking an organized, creative, highly dependable individual to serve as our Event Production & Promotions Coordinator through an ongoing part-time Tuition-Service Partnership. This is not simply an event-planning position. It is a position of execution. Warrior Temple Island University helps children and adults build confidence, discipline, self-trust, safety awareness, leadership, and wise decision-making under pressure — even when no one is watching. But for a community to believe in what we are building, there must be moments when the doors open and the work becomes visible. A workshop that introduces a family to the Temple. An open house that becomes someone's first step. A graduation that allows a child to stand before their family and be recognized for what they have earned. A demonstration that turns curiosity into belief. A community event that creates a relationship we may carry for years. The Event Production & Promotions Coordinator helps transform those moments from ideas into organized, well-attended experiences. You will help schedule, promote, prepare, execute, and evaluate workshops, open houses, graduations, demonstrations, parent experiences, community events, recruitment activities, and other approved programs. Your responsibility is not simply to make events happen. It is to ensure that every event has a clear purpose, a preparation plan, a promotional pathway, and a measurable outcome.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Maintain an approved calendar of workshops, graduations, open houses, demonstrations, parent events, and community programs. Build preparation timelines, promotional schedules, checklists, and event run-of-show documents. Coordinate approved dates, locations, room layouts, equipment, supplies, signage, seating, refreshments, and other support needs. Request flyers, videos, advertisements, and branded materials from the Creative Production Director. Coordinate promotional distribution with the Community Partnerships Coordinator and other approved channels. Track registrations, confirmations, attendance expectations, reminders, and event-related questions. Prepare check-in materials and support guest flow, timing, transitions, setup, breakdown, and cleanup. Refer qualified families and necessary follow-up to the Family Success Coordinator. Record attendance, revenue, expenses, inquiries, consultations, feedback, and other approved event outcomes. Prepare a brief post-event report identifying what succeeded, what failed, what was learned, and what should improve. The Event Production & Promotions Coordinator will not independently approve budgets, sign contracts, change prices, create offers, promise partnerships, commit Warrior Temple Island University to expenses, or publish unapproved promotional materials. Those decisions remain with Temple leadership.
Your responsibility is clear:
Schedule. Promote. Prepare. Execute. Evaluate.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who understands that a successful event is rarely created on the day of the event. It is created in the days and weeks before it.
The right person will demonstrate:
Strong organization Clear communication Initiative and ownership Professionalism Time management Practical problem-solving Creativity Calmness when circumstances change Attention to detail Consistent follow-through Experience in event planning, hospitality, promotions, marketing, administration, community programming, project coordination, or customer service is helpful but not required. The selected person should be comfortable managing deadlines, coordinating multiple contributors, communicating with families and vendors, and adjusting intelligently when plans change. References and background screening are required.
SCHEDULE & WORK STRUCTURE
This position offers flexible weekly planning and promotional hours between events, with in-person availability required for approved event setup, execution, and breakdown. Some approved events may occur during evenings or weekends. The selected partner must meet agreed deadlines, protect confidential information, remain within approved budgets and messaging, care for Temple property, and complete post-event follow-through.
THE PARTNERSHIP EXCHANGE
This is an ongoing Tuition-Service Partnership, not a traditional salaried employment position. In exchange for dependable service, the selected partner may receive an approved Warrior Temple Island University tuition-service pathway for themselves or enrollment for one eligible child. For an eligible young warrior entering our Young & Fearless Leadership Academy™, the pathway may include: Young & Fearless Confidence Starter System™ 6 weeks — valued at $897 Young & Fearless Self-Trust Builder™ 3 months — valued at $2,997 Young & Fearless Leadership Academy™ Ongoing participation — valued at $697 per month while the partnership remains active and in good standing. Approved tuition and registration fees are waived while the partnership remains active and in good standing. The participant or family remains responsible for required apparel, equipment, event fees, travel expenses, and other applicable costs. Final responsibilities, schedule, expectations, training or child-enrollment terms, performance expectations, and conditions of the exchange will be documented in a written Tuition-Service Partnership Agreement.
THE TRUST OF THE POSITION
Every event carries the reputation of the institution into public view. Before someone studies our curriculum, meets our Masters, understands our philosophy, or enrolls their child, they may experience an event. And that experience speaks. Was it organized? Was it intentional? Did people know where to go? Did we start prepared? Did the experience feel worthy of the promise? Did people leave understanding who Warrior Temple is? That is why this position matters. Preparation turns intention into order. Promotion turns obscurity into attendance. Execution turns planning into experience. Evaluation turns experience into wisdom. We are not looking simply for someone who enjoys putting events together. We are looking for someone who understands how to take an idea from concept → preparation → promotion → execution → measurable result. Because activity alone is not success. An event must move the mission forward. This position is an amānah — a trust — and it must be carried with excellence. "And say, 'Do [as you will], for Allah will see your deeds…'" — Qur'an 9:105 If your organization, creativity, discipline, and ability to turn plans into finished experiences align with what we are building, we welcome you to apply.
